Okay,

This has bugged me too long and I just have to say something about it. Since none of my IRL friends are laserists, that leaves you guys, yayyyy!!!!!! :na:

So bear with me right quick....everytime I see a Wickedlasers ad it shows a picture of a laser and then:

Hopefully SOMEONE here has seen this....kinda pisses me off, I'm like "No it isn't......"

Anyway, I'm done ranting, just wanted to get it off my chest.

i agree they don't sell the most powerful anything. we have users on here that have built lasers that are over twice the power of their biggest. straight up, they are a scamming company that takes advantage of uninformed consumers
 
I get tired of not having close friends who like to build and buy lasers as much as me. Do yall ever have those moments where you are talking about an upcoming build and the parts you are sourcing and how awesome it is going to be, and then you look at them and they have a blank look on their face and you feel bad because obviously its not as cool to them as it is to you?

Maybe I am the only one...
 
I don't get it? What's an "X" laser? Cross laser? ex-laser?

Forced memes never catch, I wouldn't worry about it.
 
X is just a place holder, or variable, for whatever.

X could mean:
1. Blue
2. Green
3. Red
4. Handheld
5. Portable
6. Purple

I feel you man... My family, my friends, no one but my Pastor and my son get it.:whistle:
It has something to with being a total nerd, get use to it.

That is typical WL Sales Hype to attract the uninformed
into spending more for an underspec Laser than they should.

Over time the only thing this hype does is show them

Their other banner says
"100% above spec, 100%of the time. Guaranteed."
I wish i could flame them for that false advertising.
 
100% above spec?! So the 200mW green will be 400mW?!!! Oh WL YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE!!!! :D lol

60% of the time WL works all the time.

Yeah that did came to my mind every*friggin*single time i saw their ads.. What a load a'craap!! I would get a 9mm and stick it up their A**!!! :crackup:

Close but not what that means. In that add they are portraying that all their lasers are above spec. All of the time. Which a lot of them wernt, a lot of the time.
