thanks man! i think im going to do the same as you, it will make the cost of my project alot lower if i use the DX driver :p

if you dont screw the pill all the way dont you have problems with the heatsink?

My 445 laser only costed 80$ thanks to that driver :D

The picture you see is actually the driver Im using to power the 445.

I used a 1 Ohm Res (its under the cap and it has the white wires) in parallel with the "R200" to get exacly 1.5A. The higher the resistence you choose to parallel, the higher the output (only true when paralleling)

If you`re building yours in a C6 you might wanna choose a lower current, thats my advice :)

About the pill, it depends of the sink. The Gold plated copper sink i´m using in my 405 build is short enough to avoid touching the pill, that way i can screw the head normally. But if yours is longer then you would have to file it down a bit.

Oh if you use this driver, dont solder the case pin to the neg pin! The driver is not continuos neg.

Actually you don't even need to add the cap. They work perfectly as-is. :)
