Awesome the 405nM is overspec! And the dot seems pretty good to me! Comparable or even slightly better the a m-140? Anyway enjoy your new stuff :beer:

I like the beam of this red skylasers laser, it's better then the mit$u for sure.
Not brighter.

The HL405nm laser is allready a winner in my book compared to my DL spartan 405nm wich does 300mW (nothing more)

This one has longer batteries runtime and comes with a focus knob and is overspec :)

The diff in brightness between 300mW ''DL spartan" and this HL405 500mW+ laser is :bowdown: :topic:

Ohh and i love the focus mechanism.
It's sturdy and smooth, and lockable!

great news on my laser, it finally shows on www.USPS.com as "origin post is preparing shipment". considering it was in the first batch of 3 to go out, I should get it by Halloween, maybe
 
:san: well my v-10 glow powder is in so just waiting for this laser to show up and I'll make some nice green GITD o-rings to complement the 300mw of 532nm.

It looks like you're in the same boat as me (literally) (or airplane, or whatever).

I just ordered a few IMRs from yobresal. Let's see which package of mine arrives first (sad thing is that my DX order just came the other day. I ordered it at the same time as this GB). Oh, well, I guess I just need to be a little more patient.

Another thing: has anyone here ever considered actually using the remote connector switch, you know, remotely? It looks like it's just a standard 3.5mm jack. I have spare 3.5mm cables that I could cut one end off of and add a button. That way, I could turn on the laser with a switch from a distance. I don't see much of a use for this yet, but maybe I'll think of something later. Wait, do you have to perform the interlocks in a certain order? That could screw up my brilliant plan here.

I believe the connector on the end is a stereo connector where the end ties from 1 channel to the other for a ground.
 
That's what it looks like to me, too. Maybe it'll work, and maybe it won't. I'll try it out when my laser shows up.

Mine hit my hometown within a couple miles about 7 hrs ago so I am guessing it will be delivered today :D
 
Smeerworst, what are you hitting with the lasers to produce that spark shower? O.o
