Interesting story about a "Dazzling" Grandpa






Funny. They are pretty serious about not dazzling aircraft in the UK (or they have nothing better to do than hassle gramps).

Gramps hears noise in the middle of the night and goes to investigate with a flashlight, and they arrest him for trying to bring down a helicopter:wtf:

I'm glad he wasn't charged, but to me it's insane that it even got to the point of him being arrested.

The morons who perpetrated this insanity deserve to be shot so they don't pass on their genes.

I guess he has a point on that though.. if such flashlights pose an actual hazard to military helicopters i expect them to drop from the sky faster than rain in the middle east.

With those reports on the hazard to aircraft i often feel like just sending a crate of a thousand 1 watt lasers to one of the battlegrounds in the middle east, and see how many aircraft they manage to shoot down with them.

They say "Don't judge a book by it's cover." They are the same ones who trust the wrong people.

People ask me all the time for money because their car got stranded on the freeway or they just need to make it to their grandma's house before she dies, blah blah blah. I think I'll start doing this: Giving change to crackheads :san:

(You can tell difference between homeless and crackhead homeless, and I don't condone the mistreatment of people who are just down on their luck.)
