Hi LPF!

Ok, I am really in doubt.
Should I buy LZSK 400mw or O-like Crown 400mw?

I have already bought a gatlin (100mw) from O-like, and I'm very satisfied with it.
And, I also have "1000mw" (no way) 445nm blue from DX (got it 6 months ago) for 150$, which is very good too...

(If you want, I'll make reviews :p)

So, with O-like it comes around 220$ - laser, shipment, fees, GITD rings and caps from DX (or maybe not, not sure how to remove or put in the tail cap)
Lazerer - 245$ - laser, box, power certificate

I wish to know the beam specs (divergence... ) but real, not what shops say...

(Sorry for my english)

I'm a big fan of lazerer products, and have no doubt that you would be happy with the LZSK 400mW.

That said however, I would go with the o-like model.

The host is much nicer, and it leaves room for improvement, as well as diffraction caps.

The only MAJOR downside to odering from o-like imo is that they don't offer the option for a power certificate.

Yes, I agree. However, I do not need the caps, just a nice bright green beam and nice round dot.

But it seems to me that Lazerer has better quality...? But O-like has 6 month warranty, right?

Lazerer has better quality control in my experience. No idea about the warranty, generally if there is a problem with a laser it's apparent right away, not a month down the road.

nope just output controle :) quality control would mean that he would inspect the entire laser like threads, coating, driver and diode heat conduction, battery capacity

greetings,,

Maybe we're having a cultural translation problem here...

Monitoring output is a part of the quality control process. My original statement that lazerer has better quality control, covers "output control".

If you put it like that youre right lol :san:

So, with lazerer it is 400mw or more (for sure), with O-like it is around 400mw (maybe more, maybe less).

But what about divergence and dot size?

IIRC the website says >350mW for both of them.

Divergence and beam diameter are a crap shoot. If you're concerned with that head over laserglow and optotronics... be prepared to pay though.

It's not all about power, I'm looking for a decent beam (under 300$).
Then I found this.

What about Survival lasers violet (Without G-1 lens)?

It's a great laser, but clearly you've read very little about 405nm... ~500mW of 405nm would appear about as bright as ~15mW of green.

I know 532 is much brighter than 405.
405 would be used for burning, 532 for pointing.

Oh, and how much G-1 lens affect the beam?
They increase the power output but is it worth it?
