Ordering the Flexdrive V5 from Nautilus Integration?

I recently ordered the flexdrive from Nautilus Integration...(woo!)

I think I read somewhere that I'm not supposed to, since Dr. Lava is away/busy or something along those lines?


Or, is he back now and accepting orders again?

They are accepting orders. However, it takes about 2 weeks for them to ship. At least I placed an order about 2 weeks ago, and it just shipped.

If they dont want to take orders on their site, then they should disable all cart functionality.

Why would you take the risk of ordering from somewhere that you once read something against doing so? :thinking: This is just my opinion, but I think you're better off ordering those from credible and well respected members on this forum like pyro or DTR instead of gambling with sites like those you're unsure of. Taking the LPF route is practically guaranteed and you'd be supporting people who have supported you :beer:

I thought Dr. Lava was a respectable member. o.o

And, I asked to cancel my order. Hopefully it won't take very long. :I

Gah I totally read that wrong, please forgive me. He absolutely is - I stupidly didn't put the name association together with him when I read your OP & was even going to link his website explaining that he shows 'in stock' or 'out' status'... Ahh I'm an idiot, sorry man - I need to lay off the wacky stuff sometimes :beer:

BTW my opinion and experience with Dr Lava is very positive, I should point that out since I inadvertently recommended against going through him when making an ass of myself a few comments ago. Like the OP said I too have read before that he can take awhile getting orders out to people, and while that may be the case sometimes I'm sure it's because he gets extremely busy like the rest of us do every now & then. The past 4 times I've contacted and ordered from him though, I had a response the next day. That won't be the case all the time but you can't blame the guy for having a busy life sometimes :beer:

Ah, poop.

Well, I guess I have to wait until he cancels my order. Any ideas how long that might take?

I'll end up getting one from Flaminpyro, more than likely.
 
How long ago did you place this order? If it was earlier today I'd at least give him a day to reply before cancelling. Although if you already sent a cancel request through then you've made your mind up so nevermind... I'm not sure how long you dont want to wait for a flexdrive to show up after placing an order but you should probably give it a week with standard shipping, maybe less :beer:
 
In my purchasing experience from the Natilus site, communication was non-existent. I sent a few emails over the past few weeks requesting information and have yet to get a response.

What should I do? I need the money to get a driver for my build....so...hrm

According to Google Checkout Help, Google will issue a Mediation, if the seller does not respond to your cancellation request in 2 days. Of course, you have to actually contact Google to let them know, but yeah.

I did that, so now we'll wait and see what happens.
