100mw green laser turning into flashlight?

Hello, today arrived my green laser I ordered from Laser Pointers - Green, Red, Blue Lasers at Laserpointerpro.com (i know it doesnt have any good reviews but is everything I could spend) but after an hour of use it started projecting little green dots around the main one. I just wanted to know if there is anything i can do to fix it, or what was the reason for it to do that (i had it in my jeans pocket, not sure if was that) this is the model: 100mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen with 15270 Battery at Laserpointerpro.com

Dirt/moisture/dust got into the lens. Just clean it out using a microfiber cloth.

Am i supposed to open the laser or inserting a toothpick with the microfiber?

I would use a q-tip which you remove all the cotton off of to gently and carefully push the microfiber cloth around.

Do NOT open the laser head.

Both my greenies do this all the time. I guess green just shows garbage on the lens better than other colors. Sigurthr's suggestion would probably be the best/safest.
