Qphotonics Caution

On a recent thread, the UVLED365 was mentioned.
It is a .4 mW 365 nM LED offered by Qphotonics.
I went to the site and ordered one with an invoice of
$39.00 and no shipping.
Today, I see that they took me for $56.00 and a call
to them reveled that they added $17 shipping not shown
on the invoice. I canceled --- BEWARE.........:can:

Yes, thanks for the heads up, Mike; I just looked at their site, and I see that their products are not cheap.
I noticed that they are located in Mi, not too far from me.

I bought wl selected laser diodes from them one time and they had great customer service, answered very fast and shipped the diodes ultra fast.

I asked for fast shipping and payed with my credit card on their website. During the payment process I had to decide what kind of shipping I need. Have you asked yourself what kind of shipping you will get?

Anyway, the diodes came with a test spec sheet, including the spectrum and a PI curve. Their prices are high but all diodes are characterized by them and wl selection is 50$ extra.
