Just did some testing on these new diodes I got and all I've got to say is H*LY SH!T!!! (pardon my punctuation)
These are rated for 3.3 watts @2.2 amps but they go much farther than that. I pushed one up to 5.5A and it didn't kill it. My LPM read over 8.2 watts of glorious violet photons. The un-collimated beam looks just like any other high power multi-mode and the divergence is very similar when collimated. The spectrum spread was from sub 400nm up to over 407nm.
