658nm 1.2W Single mode

Rpmclasers website shows new 658nm diode.
Its a very new diode, did anyone tested it already? Dark red single mode is something i would like to have in my projector

That is a lot of power for a single mode laser diode. I'm assuming that is the rated power and not just what someone was able to push one to its limit. I wonder if it is really a single mode diode at all. Do you have the manufacturer and part number?

I assume that is Ushio HL65213HD. It says its a single mode but beam divergence is as bad as usually multimode diodes.

RPMC site has typo..Main text says its a TO-56 and few lines later it says package is 9mm. Datasheet says its a multimode diode

Yeah, that can't be a single mode laser diode, Thanks for that information, Tero. That typo should have stated it as a TO-5, 9 mm diode.
