655nm red?

Just wondering if 655nm is actually something rare or special.

Can't figure out why the 655 is worth like 12X the 650 nm

All the reds labeled 650-660 are basically the same thing. Cyp says they are all actually 650-660nm and there really isn't a 650nm.

Thanks. I kinda suspected they were just on crack when setting that price. Even if it was 655, I highly doubt your eyes could tell it apart from 650/660 or whatever the heck the normal red is.
I just wondered if it was some kind of exotic diode or DPSS process making 655nm.

I have a lot of reds and will say there is a difference I can see with the 2 685nm I have aND posted a thread with it somewhere comparing to a 650-660nm. I wish we would all just decide what to call them.
