Test results of the Sharp GH05C01A9G
Test was performed as all other tests, Sanwu 20T LPM, G2 lens, 21.0°C TEC cooled on DTR 25mm copper module at 20cm distance.
Divergence tests were done with 2E lens, same as all other tests. The diode was remained canned for this test.

Tested the Nlchia NUBM4B today.
Same setup as all other tests, Sanwu 20T LPM, G2 lens, 21.0°C TEC cooled on DTR 25mm copper module at 20cm distance.
All in all, not a bad diode, considering it can be bought for around $10 on the chinese market, outperforming the majority of diodes on both power...
Hello everyone!
I am happy to announce I have officially begun selling laser diodes at affordable and competitive prices
Please don't hesitate to leave some constructive feedback if some prices are erroneous or set too high!

Hello laser friends!
I am proud and extremely happy to announce my official driver line-up!
I am offering a whole variety of boost and buck drivers on my website:
They are all Constant Current mode, single mode (100%) drivers.
To name a few:
11mm JLB450A - Fits Sanwu Pocket series & JLasers...
For public info / archives:
Repaired/disassembled a Sanwu Pocket 505nm 50mW today.
Driver is using the LT1931 Inverting DC/DC Converter, which was faulty and overheating on this board, causing a blink after long runtimes.
Their driver seems to be set to 400mA CC at the diode.
They are using a...

LIMITED QUANTITY

Uses 1x 10440 3.7v li ion button top
I can also do up to 550-1000mW without warranty (VERY short duty cycle, risk of heat damage)
I can also do 1-500mW free of charge upon request
Wow! This diode is incredible. Not in power, but in wavelength. Not to mention this diode is a brute, taking a whopping 7.7 Amps before folding back to 50mW.
470nm at 5.0A
473nm at 6.5A
475nm at 6.8A
Finally, at 7.7A, this diode emits a GORGEOUS 480.7nm blue :O
To my eyes, this was a stunning...
Here is a sweet little graph between Nichi@'s 465nm diode lineup, comparing the 07, 0C and 0G in terms of power and color.
It's interesting to note that the 0C is able to take much more abuse, therefore have a more dramatic wavelength shift all the way up to 480nm at 7.7A !
Tested the NUBM08, here are the results: (also decanned and using G2 lens of course)

Very good power from this one ! 6th best diode in the line-up so far.
The divergence is nothing to write home about though..

A sweet diode if you want ~470nm wavelengths for relatively cheap and decent power to come with it!
Make sure to give it the best heatsinking possible though

Comparing all our favorite laser diodes side by side to test their divergence characteristics with a 2E lens.
These tests were done using all the same setup, same exact lens, same distance, etc.

A modest diode found in most sony projectors
Nothing special to see here, but very cool if you can score a projector containing some of these for cheap on ebay

Another diode test for y'all! Haven't seen many posts about this diode so decided to test one for myself
This one is nothing too special in terms of power, peaking at just under 7W with TEC cooling to maintain 21C
BUT, with it's amazing divergence, this diode would make an amazing burner...
A relatively rare diode found in some Dell projectors

These specific ones were found in Dell S518WL by @Darktron which came out in 2017.
Thanks to him for donating this diode for testing...
This diode has performed the BEST out of all tested diodes! Amazing little monster. Beating the NUBM47/44, Osram and all others in its category!
Thanks to @Darktron for donating this diode for testing
This diode hit 10.6W when run at 6.2A, cooled to -0.7°C using a TEC module! 🙀
Yup, you...
