Nice! I see you have gone for all low power lasers. Until I saw the beam shots with fog I wondered where one of your 532nm went. Must be very low power. Thanks for sharing them. ;)

Gold always looks good but besides the housings, which one is your favorite ?

I generally like the lower powered ones, then I feel I can do more with them without worrying about one little mistake torching my eyes or setting something on fire. Although I find around 100-200mW is often a sweet spot were it's still very bright but not as insanely dangerous as the multi watt ones.

Defiantly the Sanwu 488 is my favourite, that aqua colour never gets old. :D

Added a couple extra pictures of the Gold Lyra, a few details on the host didn't really show up on the pictures I posted. I would also recommend the Gold Lyra as a great beginner laser too, low powered but a unique host and classic 532nm wavelength. Too many new members going right for the Sanwu Striker 7W as their first laser these days, this would be a better choice.

And my two favourites with the Uranium and Bromine element cubes. :p

Ahh.....High Quality :) :) :) Very Nice, I didn't realize it was coated in actual 18K gold.

Yes I also like the Sharp 488's, I drive mine @ 250ma - 350ma for about 120mw - 150mw and I prefer the G8 lens for the best far field beam.

I have 4 of them, 3 are pretty much the same but 1 is a freak light blue, the others are that blue/green....aquamarine/teal kind of color, a chameleon really that changes your perception depending on what other laser beam is next to it, for instance if you look ( at night or in a dark area/backdrop ) at a 532nm and a 445nm then the 445 looks blue, but look at a 488 and a 445 and now the 445 looks more violet, proving once again that our brain plays a big role in our visual perception.

p.s. I have found that just the background when looking at a 488nm beam can change my perception of it's hue.
