DTR's Reviews/Tutorials/Modifications Compilation

I have three left.

:banghead: You're evil you know that. I need to cut back on spending unfortunately. Good old new york state decided that I owe them quite a bit of money from back in 2008. Once I figure out that mess though, hope you still have one:p

i thought 445's were all multimode??? what is this single mode? sorry for my ignorance.

Yep they actually call them a 450nm diode. Avnet calls it a 460nm.

Blord's graph does show some serious promise. With a G-2 you are around a 100mW @ the rated 130mA and he ran his all the way to 400mA although I would not suggest it unless you are trying to test it's durability and accept that it will probably have a significantly shorter life if not die on the spot.

DTR, I recently ordered your 1W laser module from eBay, and I just wanted to say "thanks" for providing such a high-quality product at a reasonable price.:san:

Has anyone managed to make an Aixiz with a built in temperature crowbar yet?

thanks!!

A temp crowbar is a circuit that'll shut off the laser until it cools down to a certain point, and won't allow you to turn it on again until said point is reached.

What it has to do with this thread I'm clueless too. :p
