Just tried the larger window, but the size of the physical graph is still the same.
Text is still crammed into one another.

the broken link after installing controlP5 still reappears after installed it into the libraries in Processing.

The graph size is also unfortunately static. You'll need to update that in the draw() function.

Regarding the library... you need to put it in a folder titled "libraries" where your sketches are stored. Will it still not compile even when you do that?

LaserBees output a simple serial datastream representing power readings. To be quite frank, it is the customer's choice as to what software to use to read it - be it EagleEye, the Arduino terminal, or Peregrine.

and Kenometer USB besides the LaserBee products...

Good. If you had set up a consult to talk about just this, you'd be wasting your money. When Apple tried to control how their users use their devices, the courts ruled against them.

After meeting with our attorney for some unrelated legal matters I brought up this
Open Source issue this morning.

The results of that discussion is simple.... once our product is sold it belongs to the
customer. If that customer wants to hook it up to another device he does so at his
own risk which then may void by his own actions any existing warranty.
It seems that a customer can do as he pleases with his product with the knowledge
that he may loose any existing warranty.

We (J.BAUER Electronics) have concluded with our attorney that there is no legal
reason that any third party making available a FREE Open Source Data Logging
Software for Multi LPM products (including the LaserBee products) would hinder
our sales.

That being said... we now welcome a Windows version along with a version for
MACs and Linux.

It will also be good for some interested Forum members to see the 2 way
communication required for Luminosity since the new Windows Free Open Source
Data logging software would work with the old Kenometer Pros and Kenometer USBs
(as state in previous Posts) along with previously available LaserBee products.

As our Lawyer had mentioned... any new Windows Free Open Source Data Logging
software being proposed/developed will also allow us (J.BAUER Electronics) to read
the source code to make sure that any previously signed NDA is not violated.

So bottom line is your Free Multi LPM Open Source data logging software projects
for Windows is a big go with no opposition from me (J.BAUER Electronics)....:beer:

Okay. I think we need to start attacking this problem somewhat differently. I mistakenly assumed that since Processing is awesome, it would render the same way on Mac / PC. This is obviously false... whoops.

Teaches me to release a prototype the same day I "learn" a programming language...

So, on the to-do list for this week:
- Look into not statically placing form elements
- Look into including font files with releases to prevent inconsistency between platforms
- Reorganize ALL the code...

The main obstacle for me is the lack of a Mac to do testing on, but between Seoul_lasers and bobhaha I think we've got that fairly covered?

I just borrowed a Mac book pro off my sister and I can VMware Back track 4 (linux environment) so we have all our bases covered.

With the font files, you can actually call createFont("filename.ttf"), with a font that's been added to the data folder of your sketch. That should fix the font issue on Mac OSX.

There is absolutely no legal leg to stand on in regards to stopping software that you don't own the IP to from working with a product your customers own when using it.

Actually the window (workspace) is larger, but the menu is stuck in the same area.
There got to be an easier way to make the program, and I am suspecting processing is just not up to the challenge.

Are you trying to move the "Main Menu" thing up in the top left?
