What battery is inside ?

Hello.
Just bought this rechargeable $6 red pointer from curiosity, housing is plastic; do you know what battery is inside, if it is replaceable, is the housing openable or is it a disposable ? Cannot unscrew it other than the lens

could be 18650 Li-ion... may I ask why you want to open the laser??

the 18 is dia. and 650 is length in mm.

Want to open it to coat/fill everything in melted wax to make it waterproof.

coz the lens is in a threaded (brass) mount making it waterproof may be difficult.-- an enclosure like we use for cameras may be the best way---good luck

Hi,
Leave it alone they are glued together you will only ruin it. Go buy a waterproof version they are out there on the market.
