Welcome to Laser Pointer Forums - discuss green laser pointers, blue laser pointers, and all types of lasers

laser type

I'm often surprised by the number of first-time parents that become irritated when their kid(s) won't stay parked in front of the television for 6 to 8 hours a day.

Well, now days they will. I mean there is netflix, internet, games, etc, but yeah I agree, having a child you basically sign away your life for at least 20 years...

Of course if a kid doesn't stay glued to the TV, well, then it must be ADHD, and he needs some adderall :tinfoil:

plz understand that she is walked 4-6 times a day but she doesn't like the leash because we have her trained infront of our 4-wheeler she listens to the engine for when to speed up and slow down and she loves that she would rather run in the woods for an hour or two at about 10 mph than walk on a leash on the pavement.

That's great, but I'm sure you don't go on the four wheeler everyday.

For mornings try to train her to just go, pie, and come back in. Give her 5 minutes outside, then call her back, and give her a treat when she comes.

The only command a dog really, really, must learn is to come. No laser will work as a substitute for it.

About the leash, personally, if my dog asks to go out, or it's that time of the day, I generally go to the door, and he is already waiting for me. Until the leash goes on, he knows I'm not opening the door though. He also knows that if he goes inside, I'm going to be kind of ticked.

Come on now guys, let's stick to giving BigDEE laser advice and not tell him how to raise his dog.

You may want to re-read the original post.

Look at his intended use for the laser...

hello im a new member and I want to get a burning laser but not like those huge 2 watt ones from lazerer or wicked lazers I want one thats also extremely well seen during the daytime because my puppy is an idiot and trys to get away from us when we let her outside so at night a use the little lazer I have from Walmart and she runs after it but it doesn't work during the day so any suggestions slash warnings

Appreciated in advance

Nothing over 5mW should be used with a dog, cat, or anyone else, where there is risk that someone will catch a laser beam, or reflection to the eye.

I agree with that, and I also completely read threads before I post in them. Just seems like he was being berated unnecessarily. That's all I have to say on the matter, no offence ment.

I'd rather "berate" someone, and have them be ticked off at me, then leave them to do something stupid, and irreversible like blinding their pet. I'm kind of dogmatic when it comes to animal safety. (Pun intended:p)

No offence taken.

I have trained dogs my whole life. Buy a leash and a coller the dog responds to. Use toys and treats with praise when it does good. Set it up to win.

I would just like you to know that I did forget to include and a low powered laser inbetween a burning laser and because my puppy is an idiot. I hope you know that I would never want to hurt this beautiful face.
