I always wonder the drivers that have the option like Low > Med > Hi> Strobe > SOS will the cause damage to the diode in long run because the CC & CV keep jumping up and down what is the downfall of using this driver's, The Low > Med > Hi i believe are ok in mine opinion i can be wrong, but the SOS and Strobe are interesting

I only have one laser that came with this ability. I have used that once just to see what it looked like though. Not a function that I would use much. It does have a low and high power mode, but this is accomplished using TTL pulse width modulation.
