What are your Spending Habits?

I hold myself to an investment limit. Atm I have about $1000 retail value in lasers which is the limit I'm holding myself to. If I want something new I'll sell one before I make a new purchase, and when I do buy I scrounge for a weeks looking for a good deal.

I do have a weakness though, I told my wife though if a miracle diode comes out IE. a multi mode 405nm at < $200 I'm purchasing immediately.

I think something is wrong with me too, I haven't spent anything on lasers except like $50 for a replacement 640nm diode for my dual LW module.. in about 2 years

I buy a new laser once in a while. Most of the time I sell lasers I get bored of in order to pay for new ones which makes me sad when I think how large my collection could be right now if I had kept them all.
