Z-Bolt or LaserGlow?

I have decided to buy a decent <5mw pointer (for safe pointing). I am down to two companies now. Z-Bolt and LaserGlow. It seems like LaserGlow is more popular, but I've heard that Z-Bolt sells good lasers too.

Which company sells better quality lasers?

They are both great for a 5mW pointer.
I've purchased from both.

My first greenie was a Galileo from LG.
I think LG's laser's look nicer but the shipping will probably cost more.

I've purchased a variety of green and red pointers from Z-bolt and never had a bad thing to say. Sometimes they have promotions... I got a free 5mW greenie once.
I just looked through their site... They used to sell pulsed 532s which were pretty cool... too bad I don't see them on the site anymore. And their prices are a little higher than they used to be.

Either way you will get a good product and good service. :)

What color 5mW pointer are you looking for? In the current CNI GB, we have really good 5mW pen laser prices. Same lasers as laser glow, but discounted.

how much are they on amazon though?

BTW i just checked into international shipping from LG and they SCREW none North American customers over on shipping! For their safety glasses it costs, kid you not, $41 to ship to Europe!

The lasers on amazon are either same price or 50 cents more, I think.

I am looking for 532 and 635 preferably 100% duty cycle and with a constant on button.

Also, do you guys have any recommendations for a rechargable cr123 3v battery?

well then go with whichever you like more. im guessing z bolt will arrive quicker since they are a US company and LG is Canadian.

CR123 or 16340 batteries id say nitecore or AW for quality batteries

Lasers got here today!

Ordered on 2nd, arrived on the 6th. Pretty fast for free shipping.

Make sure and take lots of pictures and give a nice review :) If possible, take Beam Divergence measurements as well

Thanks,
Isaac

The beam comes out of the galileo at a noticeable angle. Oh well.:cryyy:

How much did you pay for it? Laserglow is a reputable company, contact them and tell them what is going on with it. If you sink money into something you owe it to yourself to follow up problems with the company. They wont know there is an issue unless you tell them. I am sure they don't want a dissatisfied customer.

id contact them as well......and hen if they send you a new one you could always sell this one to help pay for your laser (or keep it and have two)
