Yellow HeNe! :D

Tonight I broke out my 594.1nm HeNe to photograph. Since everyone is still obsessing over 445nm, I thought I'd post something a little more fun. The color rendition looks perfect on my monitor (and on the back of my camera).

Strange. Your laser looks a bit orange to me on your image. :thinking:
But, I guess 594nm is on the orange side of yellow:

594nm is more of a golden amber to me

However, it certainly isn't orange or green so "yellow" was the best label for it.

Red ------------------ Orange ----------------------- Yellow -------------------- Green

I was going to ask the power until I saw it was a 30s shot on a SLR.

I like my yellow hene better than my 445 also! Makes me want a handheld though.

I like it a lot

It shows the difference between 594nm and 632nm well.

Now, if we could just get a picture that showed the difference between 612nm and 632nm as well <sigh>
