Hello i once saw a thread, or post in a thread about someone selling these aussie hosts(picture below) built into lasers.
I was would like to know if anyone remembers. I want to know to open the pill assembly without damaging it.

That would be a simple build. it would come apart, get modified, and go back together just like Jayrob's pocket mini.

you could undo a paperclip.. or a small screwdriver... or mabe needle nose pliers if you have a small enough pair?

I did that to a flashlight once. get 2 paperclips and straighten them out and put each one in a hole. then move both paperclips in the same direction holding on tight. It should unscrew fairly well.

I didn't have nose pliers to unscrew my flashlight set, I just used two little screwdrivers and took them both by the end just like chinese sticks and twisted at the same time.

i got it disassembled - was very easy
i used the two spikes from a DMM

i will probably ask jayrob if he can make me a heatsink for it, once i have some funds available.
