hi. Im looking for a driver for PHR-803T diode. It seems that everywhere i look is sold out. If you have one like Rkcstr's Microdrive or DrLava's Flexdrive for sale please let me know. thanks.
 





buy a rckstr driver if you are using a power supply beween 8.2 nad 12 volts. buy a lavadrive for any other voltages. ;)

I have a groove kit that you have to assemble yourself for $5 plus $2 shipping.
 
Im going to most likely be using 4.5v mainly because i have a dorcy with 3AAA cells in it. I could change that but it keeps cost down this way. As far as lavadrive It seems that there is none in stock. And as far as the groove kit goes, im not master at electronics or laser construction but if you have a link to them ill check it out and get back to you. thanks for the fast reply guys. this is a great forum!
 
Since you are limiting yourself to just 1 rcr123 your also limiting yourself to literally only one driver on the market. THe flexdrive. All the other drivers require more voltage than that including the groove driver. it needs a minimum of 6v.
 
If you are using 4.5v then your best bet is to wait till the lavadrives are back in stock. According to dr.lava they should be in sometime soon if you can wait.

thanks guys. I will do a little research. maybe ill go with a higher voltage.

Ok i did some research and i will be able to use voltage from 4.5 to 9v. I need a small driver to fit the housing.
 
WOW those parts are small. I dont know if my soldering skills are up to par. i did solder in a wiikey in my wii. but i don't know if i can do that kit. Any other options. maybe a kit put together.
 
dude this is the easiest assembly you'll get. the parts are small but it is easy. If you soldered a wiikey in you can do this one.
