Wicked Lasers Elite Series Released Today

:-/ £300 for a >150mW green laser pen..
You can get a Hulk <200mW for less..

"The god of pen-sized laser pointers..."

Bullshit. Even at those outputs that is way over priced. I'll stick to 105-125mW X-105's for $209.

Lmfao...
I swear WL spend more engraving their items than on the actual diodes...

I was thinking about getting one of the elite series lasers for christmas, but then i didn't. I can get just as much power for about half the money

Looks are not everything Sawt after all boy racers make their cars look nice but it don't mean they perform any better ;)

Each to there own I suppose but I would prefer the Laserglow logo they make real lasers :D

2.0 mm Beam Diameter at aperature....too fat for me...

too pricy too, and i agree that there will probably be alot of stability issues with the higher powered ones...and that is ASSUMING that the higher powered ones are actually putting out what they claim.

The case does look nice tho, maybe wicked should stop making lasers and just sell the shells ;)

yea 2.0mm beam diameter is pretty bad
but im sure theyll guarantee match lights without lens
like they always do, then the mass rma's

Wow! 2 mm beam! :o
I never saw that.
What's the point of a 2mm beam t the aperture? With WL divergence, you not gonna burn anything well. :-? Thats kinda stupid on their part.

A breakthrough would be a REALLY thin beam. Imagine the cooling problems this guy must have. Well, I suppose it won't, cause it won't be anywhere near 200mW... Yep, like you say, let the RMA's begin ;)

Shit son, just got an email from LC (Though I'm banned so I can't see the contest details!)

Hi LC,

It's time for another Laser Community Contest! Can you handle The Instructables Challenge? Winners will receive the wickedly new Elite Series lasers - the world's most powerful pen-sized lasers.

For complete rules and regulations, visit:

http://www.lasercommunity.com/the-instructables-challenge-win-a-elite-series-laser-t16043.html

Your mission is to create an instructable related to lasers. Hopefully it'll be a Wicked laser (optional). The five best instructables will be selected by the Wicked Lasers staff and placed on Laser Community for a final poll. Winners of the showdown will receive:

First Prize: Elite 150 plus
Second Prize: Elite 125 plus
Third Prize: Elite 100 plus
(2) Finalists: Core

Each of the five finalists will receive a prize! There are no limits as to how many instructables you submit.

Happy Thanksgiving,
