I like the 50mW Greens. I feel safe enough to do most things without goggles, and the beams are to die for!

no i didnt forget 50 and 1000mw they're there
As was already mentioned...
The [ > ] sign means Greater Than and the [ < ] sign
means Less Than...:)
Like if you check the warning label on your 200mW
523nm Laser... It no doubt reads <200mW..

Like Photonic induction sais I WANT MORE !!!

so a 1000mw of 638 of red would be nice :)

I vote 1000mw, Im happy in the 1W-2W range... for greens.

The more the merrier I guess.

I would like to see how much power of 638nm-640nm is needed to ballance a 1W-2W green... Id imagine not far off 2W or so due to the visability of 638 vs 660

I have a 200mw green, I am very pleased with it... At night I put it on it's little tripod, right outside my apartment and aimed it more-or-less at the zenith, streight up, but at a slight angle. (no chance of aircraft incidents, I am very familiar w/ the traffic patterns around here).

I walked around ~ 30 meters away, and just "oo'ed and 'awe'ed" at seeing that thing arcing overhead (somewhat faintly - a pale green line overhead).

If the rule of thumb = 2x brightness = 4x mw applies, I wouldn't mind getting an 800mw+ 532 though. Duty cycle would probably be terrible though. AND I probably couldn't afford it right now.

1.21 gigawatts

I'm new here but I don't think the Poll includes using Flux Capacitors, And creating space -time warps etc.

Hey JB Texas- you gave me an idea when you said you were admiring the Arc from your Laser.

A bunch of colors could be done as an Art Piece ( Government Approved and permitted ) as a kind of Laser Rainbow over certain parts of cities- would be a beautiful effect, I'm sure.

As a newcomer to Lasers even though I knew what the acronym meant at nine yrs. old I'm not sure whether I'd rather be able to play around ( carefully ) with a relatively safe 5mw unit versus a more powerful one requiring goggles etc.

It's too bad they are so dangerous because especially the different colors are beautiful with Lasers.

So I have no idea what my favorite mw is - yet.
