WANTED: X-Y axis adjustable laser module

Looking for a laser in the 532nm 50-200mw range to use as an astronomical sight finder on my telescope. It needs to be adjustalbe on the X-Y axis and capable of holding a zero. Preferrably able to be battery powered and rail mounted. Would pay a decent sum for such a precision instrument if anyone could put together or knows where to find something like this.
 





Me as well, there’s a grand project in order, needs to have 2-3 separate x-y axis if at all humanly possible

The power is much less than what you ask for but consider using a generic adjustable finder-scope mount for a laser that meets your power requirement is a possible solution.

What type of rail are you mounting it to? Will it be exposed to the environment (condensation, dust, etc.)? When you say it must "hold zero," are you implying that the device will be subject to some kind of mechanical disturbance or do you just want it to keep alignment during storage?

Is there a reason a 5 mW off-the-shelf solution would not be sufficient? Against a sufficiently dark sky, it may be enough power. 200 mW of green laser is very bright.

I can build an adjustable laser from scratch but it would be hard to find the time to do it...
 
First of all you can't legally shine 200mW of laser light into sky in most parts of the world.
Pan tilt adjustment is quite simple to achieve. Price simply depends on range, movement speed, precision and if it needs to be digitally controllable.
The cheapest and simplest solution would be laser module in 3d printed flexture with 2 setscrews.
More advanced but much more precise way is to use kinematic mount for eg. from thorlabs. Used ones come for as little as 35$, downside is quite low range of motion around +-3 degrees.
If you want digital control you again have few options.

ps of you think your going to get pointing accuracy your not….get a red dot finder.
