Anyone got poem spare IR filters going cheap? :)

I want to stick one on a DX laser that I will buy...
 





Good going spiro, I was going to suggest the same source, btw, if you are good w/ glass, maybe it could be cut into 4 of 'em!

are they glass? not plastic?
 
If you're interested in some good quality Coherent filters a bit larger than those nova ones (1cm x 1cm), I can sell you one for $15. Now that may be a good one to cut up ;). Otherwise, the nova one would be my other suggestion too.
 
you could get a cheap green laser and take the IR filter out and still have a 5mw green laser :) like dealextreme sku 10094

:( I wish I knew how to do that....

and without the IR filter isn't the 5mW still a danger?
 
a 5mw should not put out that much IR to be a danger and most 5mw lasers dont have a IR filter
 
PM me your address I can send an IR filter for free but you have to wait around a week or 10days to reach you as I'll send it by mail :)
I don't care what people think but WL is a good company although they are more expensive than other companies their products are very good. Some can be underpowered but they have developed their own lasers.
Executives are the best example of this by their thick beam. Any CNI user can notice this easily!
I have to admit that I am not a fan of WL but WL is not as bad as you think.
The IR filter I'll send is one of IR filters WL send me for free when I ask them for an IR filter I can pay for!

yes I have 5 of them. One for me and left 4 for any laser enthusiast 8-)
Just thank me when you get it. That's enough.
Once I've sent a case I've made, to an LC member, he doesn't even let me know that he received it >:(

i'm thinking about purchasing a DX greenie as well, and the lack of IR filtering scares the hell out of me :/

Sorry for not replying all one by one.
SMIDSY is an unlucky guy as he is the first asking for a filter and not send his address yet :)
I have 5 IR filters and can send 4 of them.
Here are the members sent me PMs; in order of sending PM times.

ngiapy
amkdeath
spyrorocks

Except SMIDSY there is 5. I'll send 5 of them to these 5 LPF members.
No payment is needed as I'll send them in a letter :) And it cost something like $1 :)
I don't care about it for my friends who loves lasers :)
It can take a bit long (the longest period is about 2 weeks.) They will have no tracking but don't worry they will arrive.

TheMonk, amkdeath, ngiapy has sent their addresses (ngiapy you have to add your name)
thejunkmonger, spyrorocks hasn't send their addresses (send your addresses so I can send you IR filters)

So no more IR filters left. I'll also send the last one I had. I can ask any of you to send it back if I need one again in an emergency :P
Please also know that they are Wickedlasers IR filters and very good quality.
 
These 5 guys please send your name and addresses to my e-mail. It will be easier to check it and send them to you immediately.
