Hi all,

Glad I found LPF and look forward to learning all I can. Im currently stuck in Baghdad for another 8 months then its back to the states. I use lasers out of necessity here since I am on the road a lot and we use them for traffic control and such. :gun:

Hopefully you get back to the states safely in 8 months so you can play with personal lasers of different colours :)

What kind of lasers do you use out there? Green I assume?

Also is that you in your avatar?

We have but are NOT allowed to use CHP Laser Dazzlers. They are considered "Lethal" force (go figure) so a few of us ended up buying a few china 50mW green pointers. In my quest to find the best laser for the buck, I found LPF.

And yeah thats my ugly mug in the pic, results of an IED blast.....

Welcome to the forum!!! I hope that you make a full recovery from the IED, and that none of your fellow soldiers were severely hurt in that incident. It's tough to do what you are tasked with when cowards who hide behind children are trying to blow you up. You'll find lots of useful laser info and reviews here as well as parts, kits, and lasers. Sam's Laser FAQ also is a great source of info.
