i have a beautiful perfect spot single mode 450nm laser in an aurora stainless steel host with a gold plate copper heatsink. the diode is driven by a microboost drive. it takes one 18650 battery. it includes a 3 element lens and custom focus ring. the laser does 250mW with the 3 element lens. as an incentive i'll throw in a 70mW 532nm green module. the laser can be seen here

What can you do with it?

Re: FS/T 5.5" x 5mm green trit tube

How old is it?

What can you do with it?

They just glow, nothing else, it's neat. It's like trying to explain what can you do with your lasers, it's just for fun :p

Re: FS/T 5.5" x 5mm green trit tube

I've seen these for sale by ebay seller goodgadgets2u and they've been floating around for a few years. I have forgotten the halflife of Tritium, but it's only a decade or so. It seems improbable that something only three years old has been decommissioned and moved into the surplus market.

My guess is 10+ years old.

With that said, there is a bunch of tritium in these particular vials. Some of the largest I've seen. IMO, they will continue to luminescence for at least 20 more years.

Re: FS/T 5.5" x 5mm green trit tube

up for trade or sale is a 5.5" green tritium tube. it's quite bright and was made in 2010 - so it has many years of life yet. what i would like in trade is a new m140 diode or so6j 12x or funds to purchase an m140. i'll add an "in the dark" pic when it's dark.

PM me your cash sale price to see if we can make a deal

Re: FS/T 5.5" x 5mm green trit tube

Re: EVERYTHING must go!

The Reliant50 is hard to come by and that NLC 458 is a steal with the remote, fan, and duct! Those of you who see Dave's argons but are afraid to take the plunge because of having to track down or build a remote should jump on one of these.

Re: EVERYTHING must go!

About how much would shipping be, do you think?
