Ryan's Build Shop has now closed. I will re-open a new store with new stuff, when I have gained more rep from the community with open display of my builds.

Everyone who has purchased, your builds will still be completed and shipped, as promised.

Nice shop man! Awesome builds too! Be careful though. The FDA busted a member here and took all of his stuff too IIRC for selling fully assembled lasers. Not sure what kind of laws you have over there in Canada but be careful. That is why some people sell kits rather than assembled units.

Canadian laws allow exports of fully assembled lasers, but thanks for the heads up Jeff =)

I will be careful.

That gives you no protection whatsoever of people buying your lasers in the U.S... that is still against the law ;)

And the person that got in trouble got in trouble because he was selling lasers .... guess where..... wait for it.... in the US

The FDA doesn't care about Canadian Laws once it comes across our border bubs.

BE very careful. Nobody wants our members gettin taken down

Nice shop, I like that you require proof of safety goggles prior to purchase :gj:

Very professional looking, not sure why you have to call well known hosts funny names, but I like the setup! I believe it is pretty darn easy to make a website through paypal, you might want to look into that if you want to sell outside of this forum :)

I'm not sure if Canadians can legally sell lasers to Canadians, so you might have to watch for that...

I haven't seen the "Royal Purp" pocket burner host before, I like it!

yes ryan, you can make free google site and you can add paypal plugins for checkout etc, also there are free photo gallery templates etc..you can basically get free templates for anything and add it to your site :beer:

US law does not apply to Canadians, but I will watch out for spies, thanks :)

I decided to have a little "playing cards theme" with the names, hence Jack, Ace, Royal, King.. haha And yeah, maybe I should check out the website thing. Lots of my friends actually been telling me to do that but I'm just clueless with web design and webpage hosting and all that =P

I would like to know
How much is shipping to Ireland?
Are all of them focusable?
Is Novelty Burner Gold plated laser in green version focusable?
What powers would be possible to be made in Pocket Burner of green version, and how much would they be? Would you still use the heatsink for a green Pocket burner?
Do you use thermal paste for a better heat transfer from module toi heatsink and from heatsink to host? It is efficient and relatively inexpensive.

Search youtube for a user named gigafide, he does AWESOME web hosting tutorials, very high quality. I believe he has a tut for a uber quick paypal site, but obviously it takes longer for it to look good. Everyone and their mother is making websites nowadays, so there is ALOT of free info out there :beer:

Hey. Not to burst your bubble but A) by setting up a "shop" you are REALLY going to get the FDA on your trail, and B) your prices are RIDICULOUSLY high. For a more unique, 2W blue build, I charged $250 for it. And that had custom machine work, a G2, etc.

And for the gold pens... that's ridiculous, especially with the poor choice of driver - it looks like you are using linear drivers for all of these. Correct me if I am wrong though.
