Hello all,

I bought a Prometheus 465mW from Carter this summer and have not really gotten to make good use with it.
Anyone have any find projects I can do?
What I have in mind to make is a X-Y engraver and a scanner(projects pictures w/mirrors), anyone have good instruction for those?
Are there any mods I can buy for my laser?  Like different aperture caps or tail caps?
Also, where can I get the Warning stickers for these?

Thanks!
vCw

PS:  If you are reading this Carter, where's my adjustable tail cap you owe me!  :-/ :P
Other than that, it was a great deal! Thanks!

Once the novelty of a pointer wears off, that's about it.

This is why I believe most enthusiasts slowly graduate to 'lab' style lasers over time. There is just so much more you can do with them.

Sorry I dont have any better ideas for ya :-/

They have about 80,000 hours of life, don't they?
Wow, you bought Carter's best laser, the Prometheus 600?
How much did he charge you?

With an adjustable RPL style laser you actually can run it like a lab laser if you turn it down to power level one. I've left my RPL 300 running at level one for hours at a time and the laser just gets slightly warm.
