Wow and just few days ago I was thinking the 490-500nm range is out of reach without forking out $2k minimum. I placed an order for one and will be heading toward CNI for spectrometering. Will report back with results very soon.

This would be a nice find if in fact they are really 495nm, and if there are any more available.

This one actually has a datasheet that states 495nm just like the 505nm which turned out to be within spec, so I'm pretty optimistic.

I sent an email to song song about them, hopefully they have a stock.

Exciting. We've gone so long without any new WL's diodes and now we have 505's, 473's and possibly 495's. Good stuff. :yh:

I can only hope that they rebrand the 480's that are 473's as 475's or something and then add in 485's that are actually 485's. That would be perfect.

Thats really awsome. Is there a second source for these diodes, or is somebody willing to sell one of these 495nm diodes to me?

Vice versa, I will post a complete charakterisation including WL as a function of temperature and current and a measurement of the beam profile and beam divergence.

495 does sound much more exciting than 473. Lets hope they are real and do become available. I left it a bit late to order a 473 from DTR. Will have to wait for more stock. A 505 on the way though.

Yeah, heard about these yesterday. I thought existotem had more than two at that time. You could always check Techhood, and Newgazer. Same company.
