Rayfoss website seems to be down. I'm a little skeptic, I ordered some things, that haven't got shipped yet (today is the day..), I'm afraid something bad could happen, I talked to Faona yesterday and everything seemed common. Anyone can tell me anything? :beer:
 





i'm sure everything is fine, all my dealings with rayfoss have been good, I doubt they'll not follow up with anybodys orders, but it's not working for me either, maybe they didnt pay their domain charges? haha

I think they are passing thru maintenance. You can always email Faona (rayfoss.com@hotmail.com), she can do the order for you :beer: They are a reputable company and would not let us down, this thread is for reasons discussing only, don't use it as a negative review or something similar pls.
 
yeah, in my opinion, rayfoss is awesome. My 100mW 532nm i bought from them for $75 shipped, is actually 175mW+ talk about awesome for that? almost double what I payed for

I bought a 200mW one.. if I get a overspec than I'll be getting a 350mW one? ^^

No Ir filter, but I could care less, it's bright and can burn pretty alright, so it's good in my book!
 
I got mine without IR filter because I'll use it for burning (at least try :P). What is the model? Have you reviewed or pictured it? Thanks!
 
Hey guys,

I have been having some serious trouble with Rayfoss. I ordered my laser on January 30, and they said it would ship on the 8th because of CNY. I said ok, and Febuary 10 came without any word of a laser. I e-mailed them and they said that their engineer was late coming back from his hometown. They said it will ship the 12th. On the 14th, there was no sign of a shipping number, so I emailed them again. Faona said that the IR filters were out of stock (I had asked for one) and they will get them the 18th. I said forget the filter and ship it already. Faona said it will ship in 24 hours. 48 hours later, no tracking number. I e-mailed her again saying I want to cancel the order, and she said it has already shiped on the 17th. However, she said that she does not have the tracking number yet, and will send it to us when she gets it (she said it should come later today, meaning later on the 17th). We have not gotten any message from them since. Something tells me this is a scam, so be careful ordering from these people.

I will post a reply when and if I ever get a tracking number.

The IR filters were out of stock for me too, she said that if I haven't said that I don't 'really need' they, she wouldn't be shipping my order 'till 18-Feb. She said that the chinese air mail is REALLY full so, for the sake of the speedy delivery, she was going to post in singapore, so there would be 1~2 day time to reach there and come into my house, hence a 2 day delay after shipping to get a tracking number.

They AREN'T scam, they have a nearly perfect reputation here in LPF. ;)
 
i never reviewed it, but I have pics, I just got my LPM a few days ago, and found out how awesomely overspec it is! I have the 100mW -B03

and my dealings with rayfoss have been very good!

Oh ok as you never reviewed it. You should do it IMHO! ;)

I don't really like the B03 style, I prefer flashlight style so, I ordered the C03.

btw: the first search result for "rayfoss C03" is my review. LOL, I'm famous on the internetz now...
well maybe not.


edit: the rayfoss site is back on. Faona sent me an email explaining...
but the main page is not working. To enter, www.rayfoss.com don't redirect to the store, you need to enter www.rayfoss.com .
