Problem with my Greenie

I have a 532nm 300mW laser, went it first started, it's quite bright. However, after playing for a few minutes (even in an on and off manner) the brightness drop significantly, I have to leave it off for at least half a day in order to get it back to the original brightness. What is the most possible problem that will cause this behaviour of a greenie?

At a guess, I'd say the temperature, though it shouldn't take a day to get the temperature down to usable levels again. Who made it, and what model is it? Other causes may be low batteries or an intermittent fault related to a drop or knock you may have given it.

It's a greenie from China ... not sure what brand it is......

I have tried to change a freshly charged battery but it doesn't help :'(

it's powered by one 18650, yeah it comes with 2 of those
