I do think we need to do something about the cost of healthcare, especially emergency/hospital care which is ridiculously expensive.
That said, the radical left has been taking more control of the democrat party, you shouldn't underestimate the resistance to such a radical doctrine, because radical woke leftism is what got Trump reelected, so much for a Trump backlash, however, the AI bubble could burst and throw us into a recession and Trump would get much of the blame, so that's also a factor.
So, the truth is that it's too early to pretend to know what will happen in 2028, but I halfway hope your democrats do well in the midterms, maybe even impeach Trump again, because then the backlash in 2028 will be ours and democrats still won't get any policy passed into law.
The pendulum always swings in America, it's how our system finds balance, what you need to worry about is the growing imbalance in the democrat party, because Trump hate wasn't enough in 2024 when he was running, so maybe you shouldn't count on Trump hate in 2028 when he's not running.
