A judge has ordered the deportation of Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil to either Algeria or Syria, citing alleged false statements on his green card application. Immigration Judge Jamee Comans ruled that Mahmoud Khalil’s I‑485 statements showed a lack of candor and willful misrepresentation of material facts.

Mahmoud Khalil was a legal resident. He had a student Visa and was in grad school. I hope he appeals this as it is not right that Trump can just deport students here.

He may still be able to appeal this. If so, I hope he does. Trump is only deporting people he disagrees with. Presidents don't have that authority.
