Ordered a Nova X100 Green Laser

Do you think it will make it thru Customs and to the States? Chose the TNT 1-2 day shipping. Also got the 5% discount.
Got my first laser last week, an Optotronics 11mW green laser pen. I didn't realize these things would shine so far. I could see the dot on some clouds the other night. Where I live it gets pretty dark and there are gravel roads, so there is always dust in the air. I was so impressed that I decided to get one with a lot more power, strictly to use outdoors.
Could have saved about $65 and went with Opto again but I figured I would give Nova a try.
Sure do hope it gets thru Customs.

Nova makes great lasers and are always up to spec. You will be happy and very, very impressed when you compare the Nova 100mw greenie to your Opti 11mw greenie.

You should have no problems getting your laser through customs. Especially with expedited shipping. Standard (slower) shipping gives you a bigger chance of getting your laser confiscated (but still a slim chance). Enjoy your laser!

Meanwhile my Optotronics 11mW has started acting up after only a week old, so I'm sending it back tomorrow. I'll probably get an Opto 100mW too.

WHY? I have bought two lasers from Nova, both standard shipping and received them just fine. extremely impressed with nova. build quality, over spec, amazing laser! I never once regret buying from them. just wish they did other colors besides green, I would be so broke. you might want to reconsider.

If your laser got stuck in customs, they would send a new one out straight away, with a little "gift."

NOVA don't make ANY lasers. They resell Chinese made lasers (CNI).

I wasn't aware that OPTOTRONICS made an 11mW laser of ANY color, or anybody else for that matter. Kind of an odd mW rating, doncha think ?!?!?!?!??!?!

I ordered the 4.99mW and he said he was all out so he decided to send me the 11mW. Which I take is just an over spec 4.99 ?

Actually it was an underspec 30mw as we were out of the 5mw at the time the order was placed. At times it would output close to 30mw, but would drop down to between 11-15mw when warmed up a bit.
