Nova X series 15Mw

I'm a noob and I think I'm going to get a nova x series 15mw any feedback would be great as I did not find anything in the search. How far will a 15mw throw a beam, could I blind a QB from a 1000' lol?

that basically says that if you buy a nova x-15 you are paying $6.60 for every mW!!! that is not a good deal, then again they are one of the best lasers companies, but i would recommend either buying a more powerful laser or going with a cheap laser from either dealextreme.com or ledshoppe.com

We value our hobby, and irresponsibility on the part of the uneducated (mostly children but also immature "adults") have caused this hobby to gain a poor reputation... not only that, but legislators are trying to ban lasers altogether because some douchebag thinks it's funny to irritate a few police chopper pilots and football players.
And it doesn't help that the media embellishes these stories...

I hope you know my remark was tounge in cheek and I would hope people who play with lasers also have a sense of humor!

even if you don't mean it, IT'S NOT A JOKING MATTER! period. why not point a toy gun at a policeman, and when he reacts, you laugh and ask him why he takes everything so literally?

If you don't handle a laser corectly you simply should not have one. Lasers over 5mW are already banned (besides the 5 point safty system) and you should not contibute to making a larger ban. Lasers can be fun but must be handled in a serious matter.
