Hi everyone, I'm new to lasers literally just bought a 1-watt blue laser only to find it breaks the next day literally being turned on for 5 seconds and pops. I'm in the UK and looking for a really good laser I've got a budget of £250 can anyone recommend me some sites? What's the big dislike about wicked lasers as well aren't they really powerful.

Hey Harvey there is a search bar on the bottom of the page, put in wicked lasers and do some reading. Also look for user grainde on this forum he has a few top notch lasers for sale.

Harvey, IMHO, Jetlasers is about the best Chinese laser company to deal with; their service is beyond good!
As the others have said, be sure to take a look at forums BST section for some quality lasers. :)

BTW, Welcome to LPF!

Food for thought = I think one of the biggest problem with Wicked Lasers is, the Arctic series is epoxied together. The Evo, Core and the Nano can be gotten into fairly easy. But the Arctic is real difficult to get into, makes it real tough to repair. Because of that I'd consider sticking to a custom build or a store bought one that wasn't epoxied together. Thought I'd toss that out there, more ideas the better. Best wishes :)

Welcome to the Forum....
You didn't say where you bought your now
dead laser.

Are jetlasers.org a good website?

Their hosts are Huge and I own their 1w 650nm laser that holds 1 cell. The others that require 2 cells are that much larger. And then the beam expander. It dwarfs my Sanwu spiker. They are really nice hosts with momentary and latching buttons and the focusing mechanism is neat. They have a selection of 532nm lasers that no one else offers.

I have 1 more day! I really enjoyed St. Maarten with its awesome scenery! I also did get to see Maho Beach :D

Maho Beach, I've seen pictures, that's just got to be awesome! It looks like the airplanes give you a haircut. Enjoy your last day and have a good and safe trip back. Sanwu still hasn't made a yellow laser but I'm asking them. :D

I doubt they will make one. Sanwu seems to be focused on making sturdy and non breakable lasers. Yellows are probably a little too fragile for their liking:(

You might be right, but it never hurts or ask.
