What I need help with is this - I want to do a contest of some sort, and give away (free) a 50mw 532nm Laser Pointer.  What I need is ideas on something fun, not too corny, and easy to determine a winner...I am not sure that all made sense, but here we go - give me some ideas, peeps....let's get some good ones going !  I will cover shipping inside the continental US, you gotta be 18, and you have to understand that whatever you do with the laser is YOUR business - NOT mine, and you agree to hold me completely harmless of any "Issues" that may arise due to your use of the pointer.  Everyone, including The Admin (minus myself....THAT would be stupid as hell) is eligible to win.  so - now that the legalized mumbo-jumbo is taken care of - let's hear some good ideas !
 





Damn - nobody likes free stuff ? WTF ?? :-? There really is no strings attached ! I guess I will leave this thread open one more week, then it's gone...

we have joint custody of it since we both wanted each other 2 have it lol

ok first...how about...only the top users are allowed to join....
some people don't even post at all so i dont think they should be able to participate LOL
that wuld not be fair for someone to win if they only have one post hehe
how about u post a riddle or sumthing
a math problem, questions....anything
wut do u say?
 
maybe have it for people with over a certain amount of posts, and it could be selected randomly.. like a drawing from a hat or something

Maybe you could have people "research" some obscure topic (laser-related?) and give a prize to the best answer?

how about whoever wants to win write a 500-word essay tellin y they think they should win the laser instead of the others...
hahaha....make it a laser scholarship instead LOL
 
Ewww ! Essays ! I hated them in school - I couldn't possibly make people write to win ! That would truely suck !

TRUST me, NO essay required ! I am warming up my fog machine to take some pics of my time tunnel (woooo-hooooo !) and then I'll be back on, and post the contest details :D
