Hey guys,

Has anyone here ever tried using the 2-AAA mini maglite as housing? I've seen the 2-AA maglites done, but not the 2-AAA. If you have, please share your input here.... If you haven't and you just know what/where I can get a diode powerful enough to fit in a 2-AAA mag, share 'em here too...

Thanks ya'll!

Wich kind is powerfull enought to fit watever housing? i dont understand this question.

With Lithium aaa or aa and flex drive you can power whatever red diode you want.

The limit of minimalism is the 12mm diameter from the aixis modul and the flexdrive.  ;D ;)

One guy here in the forum build a pointer IN the aixis housing with DIY DDL SMD Driver.  :o

NICE and looks powerful too! how strong is that....

oh and the "what/where...." I mean what brand...and what web site where I can find a diode small but strong.

and uhmm sorry, but i'm new to laser and chits so i dont understand "DDL SMD Driver"

I know DIY-do it yourself

and what is flex drive?

i have one that is 2.9" or 75mm it has a CR123 batt, heatsink, flexdrive, phr803 diode in aixiz head and tail clicky swithc..
