My attempt at some raster scanning!

Well, considering I have only 20K galvo's, and they are poorly tuned, I was expecting total crap from raster images. Well, it actually worked suprisingly well! The 1st image is an actual raster image, and the last one is not a tru raster image, its just a bunch of lines, which I then held something infront of the beam, creating a raster image effect!

There is quite abit of flickering, but it works! :D
 





What kind of speed is needed for good or somewhat good raster scanning?
 
I was running that at around 30K, and it was still VERY flickery. I wouldnt say anything under 50K


Although I didnt set the camera to long exposure, it just picked it up that way
 
Conventional galvos are not designed for raster scanning as one galvo must traverse at (Y resolution) times the speed of the other.
