I've seen a few threads on here discussing lasers with a spot size in the micron range, but I'm still at a bit of a loss as to what I would need to buy/build. Can anyone offer any tips/useful links?
I've recently picked up a couple of XY and XYZ stages which claim to have micron resolution:
