hi -

i came acroos an article saying how someone could make a laser from a laser micrphone/pointer or one of those dish looking like things, to shoot sounds and tense tense muscles...

they gave an example o fthe feeling of magnets tensing muscles of the feeling...but generally summed up that it tenses msucle/twitches and came shoot sounds therough the air with this built laser

Is this possible?

WAT? :-?

you'll have to rewrite your post, with sense this time.

me thinks you are totally misinterpreting or misrepresenting the article...

First sound waves and light wave are totally different.

Then, neither light nor sound can cause involuntary muscle movement, unless is causes a seizure, which only occurs in neurologically susceptible persons.

So, want to find this article again to figureout what really is going on?

Hmm, sound and light are both waves...

So you may not be able to make a literal 'laser' with sound, but do you think you could make a collimated and coherent beam of sound? That would be interesting...

haha the possibilities... yelling at someone with a collimated "beam" of sound so only they can hear you

IIRC, this has been researched before awhile back. The laser projected a beam of sound that only those who where "hit" by the laser could hear it.

Cool vid, I remember that episode of Future weapons.

But the story of falcon seems to be a different one, he's talking about tensing muscles with a modded laser, just like magnets would do he states. But magnets will not tense your muscles at all, let alone you can modify a laser diode to a muscle tensing weapon.

No more star trek for you young man!

About the magnets thing... Its hard to explain and that was one way i tried to explani this... sort of like if you have thwe same oppisiteas and that resdistance you feel of the magnets, thats what you would feel as the "tension"

However, thast you tube vid is good... i saw on the nwes the US goverment teasting this for war... where a large giganitc truck mounted with speakers(those ones) and anyone in there path would run due to hjurting there head and ears....At least now its known to work and exist...

I know someone that has a laser that would, if pointed at you, woulf giv eyou slight tingles, almost orgasm feels... sort of cool... hes not sure how to make it, whoe he said got it from someone who got it from soneoen...

EDIT:saw an aritcle to show you how to shot those sounds though a cheap walmart laser ($15) and also data and pictures thoerugh it as well...

I mean scientists can transport objucts already through the use of "lasers". so the possibliblities....ya know...

yea that's just digital data - also the way how fiber optics work, either way i don't think it's working quite the same way you're thinking of as you still need an electronic converter on the other side to get the audio/data back out

I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm assuming you're in the US and speak English fluently? Would you please try to make your sentences and spelling more coherent, if so?

Anyway, could you give some links or some sort of reference (ie what source) to the 'articles' you're reading?

Magnetic fields can induce involuntary movement, but they have to be extremely strong and focused. The use a method of stimulation of the brain called trans-cranial magnetic stimulation, but the source has to be right over the portion of the skull covering the area of the brain you're wishing to stimulate. They are working on deep brain techniques, but we're still only talking inches here, nothing at a distance.
