Well I have been putting off this build thread long enough and unfortunately I had to post this right after Mattronium's thread and do not wish to steal his thunder at all... :yabbem:
I too got my diode from TLS's thread HERE however this is were my build will differ from Mattronium's.
I got my diode HERE <--
The driver is a groove2 set to 60mA from Flaminpyro.
Power source is 2 14250 Li-ion batteries.
and lastly the host:
A Lumitop Silver flashlight host with a cast sterling silver heatsink from Wolfman29!
Now onto the build (this is my first build thread so go easy on me)
First an exploded view:

Soldering the diode:

Sorry I didn't get any more pictures of the building process... My camera was acting up and I didn't notice until I had epoxied the last part together.
However I can give you the cliff notes, it was a pain in the a$$ and this will likely be the smallest build I will ever attempt. :gun:
Completed build:

And the last:

I just love the reflection off the focus adapter, makes the edge look ribbed.
Putting out just under 40mW

Here is a beam comparison shot:

The color is about as close as I can get with my camera. It the dimmer one is 685nm at about 35mW and the brighter is a 635nm at 5mW.
I will update this with a beam shot a little later when I can get a good one :cryyy:
As a final thought it is definitely the most beautiful little device I have made thus far! And 685nm is an amazing color.
And I wanted to give a big thanks to Wolfman29 for a beautiful little host!!
