LG GSA-4163B - LD DVD datasheet. Can u help-me?

After fried 3 LD, now I´ll do by the right way.

I have this LG gsa-4163B drive and it still close.

Do u know something (mA, Volts) about the LD DVD (and LD CD too) ?

I looked it up on google and I found it to be a 16x burner, is it???
What was the speed of the previous burners from where you got your other diodes and what current did you drive them at? Where you even using a circuit? GIVE MORE DETAILS.

I didn´t measure mA before, I just turned a bit more after the shine, and in 10/20 min of use... puff...
The other (R.I.P) diodes, i got from DVD burners too, but I didn´t take the especifications as I´m doing with this drive.

Yes, it´s 16x DVD burner.
I would like to know the Volts, mA and the power at CW mode.

I´m looking for at google, but it´s not easy. :-?

Just power it at 200mA and see how it does. You can push it up to 250mA, that's as much as I recommend you put into it. You are using a driver right?

I´m waiting for a mult turn 100 Ohm pot to do a fine ajust.

get your self a proper driver
