I'd try ebay, and just do some online searching. Craiglist probaby has some deals as well.

What's your ID? Might have something I like. I only sell games and misc expensive stuff, I just started there recently.
 
I currently have nothing listed but my main thing is high end computer hardware for clockers. 8-)
 
You can also get a 7x12 from harbor freight delivered for about $475. That's what I did 3 months ago. I'm mostly happy with it. It says that it has a 3/4 horsepower motor. Not true! It's 250 watts so about 1/3 horsepower. If you don't try to take deep cuts, it gets the job done. Or you could buy Heeby's parts and then go to littlemachineshop.com to get the missing ones. Either way, it's up to you. Good Luck my friend.
 
Harbor freight told me that the crossslide is about 16.00 and the plastic sprocket is about 12.00.
