Laser tripod for $3 .....

I just went out to my electronic supply store and found this:


It is used as a microphone tripod but I can see it works very well as a laser tripod as well, it is not fully adjustable but it can be adjusted for the laser to point pretty much in any direction as long as you set it on a flat surface.

The tripod was sold separately from the head, total cost was about $3. :wtf:

As usual I found it after purchasing 3 $10 tripods "for lasers"....:banghead:

Still, what store???? I need a tripod and that looks so much better than the flexible ones that look so flimsy!!!
 
^^^ why ??? his store was local- & in Costa Rica--we need to try and find a seller on-line with these- I need 5 more myself..
 
Ok it was a local store Teltron (Costa Rica), S.A.
I don't think they sell on their web site and they don't sell international that is for sure, but if someone is interested I could eventually go there, buy the tripod and have it shipped to you, I would have to find out how much it would end up costing though.....
 
TY for the offer but.. best for me would be from the maker--prolly in China-
if we can find the source these are ripe for a GB-- ever laser owner needs at least one.

I have two but I need more-
 
Ahh....I forget people live in other countries sometimes :p I just assume every store people go to can be found in or near my city LOL!
 
Well I don't think they would go much cheaper than this even in a group buy if you consider that the total price was of a 3.40 USD. I could also eventually get just the tripods and you could get the heads.... I would have to go find the invoice to let you know the price on just the tripod.
Anyhow I wouldn't gain anything out of it, just the pleasure of helping out in this forum....
 
^ This is a great idea! Those SL ones are nice enough for small lasers...I need a freakin' Bogen for my MS-SSW w/ batteries!

I found just the top part on-line- free ship from china- for 2.70= but I will order the complete deal til I see if the tripod is any good- or if I can make a holder in lieu of a tripod-I need some that hold Pl-C/Sky size lasers- I will review when they arrive.

Well i just tested mine today with ricks Trent's laser that just came in...'and it holds it just fine. And this is a big laser...
 
ordered $4.17
They only give a 5 cent break for each additional-so basically not a better deal when buying more--
