guys i want a cool laser to point to the stars to teach some things to my kids

That laser is a little weak to do astrology with and a green would be more visible id search around for a 50 mw green pointer. At that power its not too dangerous and leaves a visible beam in the night sky.

No, for star pointing you need a green laser pointer !

But remember, when using lasers over 5mW indoors, you must wear safety goggles !

or you can google a different pair.
Personnaly I wouldnt spend money on goggles for that power but thats a choice I make based on my account balance. If you are careful and dont shine it at any reflective or white surfaces you will be ok. On the other hand if i had the 20$ to get those goggles i would do it.
