Is Optotronics +40mw green laser pointer good? Or no?

I want to buy this laser pointer. But I would like to know what you guys think of it first...
Anyone own this?
Is it good quality?
What can you tell me about it?
I heard it can pop a balloon... is this true?
Any other useful info about it?

BTW, I just want to use the laser for fun/entertainment uses

I have one and it WILL easily pop red and black colored balloons. It is IR filtered and Jack at Optotronics is first class. You cannot get much better quality and service.

And idk if that laser is legal where I live... Maryland, USA. If I order it off Optotronics website, do they have it packaged good so it would arrive safely at my house? or will customs catch it and take it away?

Oh, I am sorry. I have no idea what I'm doing and just wanted to get all my questions answered soon as I need to get the laser soon!
So your saying the laser will get to my house just fine?

Finally, Is there much of a difference between a 40mw and a 55mw laser when it comes to damaging eyes!? Or is there little difference between the two for damaging eyes without goggles?

Use name brand matching batteries. You don't want to ruin a nice laser by batteries corroding.

Don't aim it at planes or people.
